Alanna Paxton is a contemporary artist based in Naarm/Melbourne working across video, sound, sculpture, installation, drawing, walking, observing and dreaming. 

She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Victorian College of Art in 2021 and is currently completing her Honours year. 

Alanna was recently included in the HATCHED National Graduate Show at PICA and has participated in shows at the VCA Artspace and the George Paton Gallery. She was the recipient of the John Vickery Scholarship in 2020, Majlis Art Award in 2021 and the Stuart Black Memorial Scholarship 2022.
